Kellner Telecom strengthens IT security with the Managed Detection and Response service from Allgeier secion

Kellner Telecom GmbH, with eight locations throughout Germany and its central headquarters in Korntal-Münchingen near Stuttgart, is experienced in the construction of modern communication infrastructure. The demand for effective cyber security measures is particularly high - on its own initiative; but also because the medium-sized company works with corporate customers from the critical infrastructure sector, who demand IT security standards that can be proven by ISO certifications, among other things.
Since it was difficult to implement an own SOC with the five-member internal IT team in order to establish the desired security level, Jürgen Messmer (Team Leader Internal IT) decided to benefit from the know-how of a managed security service provider. While searching for a suitable solution, he and his team quickly came across Allgeier secion's Active Cyber Defense (ACD) service.
The "Managed Detection and Response Service" (MDR) proactively and continuously monitors network communication for anomalies and looks for indicators of compromise (IOCs). If conspicuous behaviour patterns are identified, the assigned security analysts inform immediately so that appropriate incident response measures can be initiated - even before damage occurs.
Within three months, ACD was implemented at Kellner Telecom's three main locations. Jürgen Messmer is so satisfied with the project process and the expertise of the security analysts that he has already recommended the service several times to colleagues at other medium-sized companies.
