Hello, Gartner KG! Pentesting and social engineering audit at one of Austria's largest logistics companies

Through networking and digitalization, logistics service providers can optimize their supply chain management and gain competitive advantages. However, with increasing transformation, the area of attack for cyber criminals is also growing. If an attack causes systems to fail, this can lead to the collapse of the entire supply chain.
IT security has therefore long been a top priority at Gartner KG, one of Europe's leading logistics service providers. However, the project managers at Gartner KG were looking for a service provider who could bring the test quality and thus also the resilience of the IT infrastructure to the next level. With secion they found the right sparring partner.
The company's own infrastructure as well as the connected systems of the suppliers were checked for vulnerabilities by means of a customized greybox pentesting. In addition, the security awareness of the employees and the implementation of internal security guidelines were put to the test by means of a social engineering audit.
