After successful cyber attack: FORUM Media relies on Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service

Hackers successfully compromised the systems of a FORUM Media subsidiary via a phishing attack. The attack caused immense financial damage. In order to restore orderly business operations, Stefan Kober (Head of System Administration at FORUM Media Group) and his team were intensively involved in cleaning up the attack and its consequences afterwards.
The security incident also prompted a review of IT security for optimisation potential. In addition to conducting a comprehensive security audit and implementing an EDR solution, the introduction of an attack detection system was a central component of the strengthened security strategy.
After researching a good 20 providers available on the market, the IT managers at FORUM Media decided on Allgeier secion as the service provider for all three security components.
